AS5048A Encoder MOSI pin

    I bought 3 GBM motors with AS5048A encoders. I will connect them to a tiny board. In the connection diagram of the manual the MOSI line is dotted. Why? I found no explanation for that. Do I have to connect the encoders MOSI line to the board's RC_PITCH line or not?

    Hello,
    The MOSI is optional for the AS5048A: if leave it connected internally to VCC in the encoder, but not connect to the controller, you still can read angle. But you will not have a diagnostic info and you have to set "Skip autodetection", because it is impossible to detect is the encoder connected or not. I advise connecting MOSI.
