Sudden configuration loss
  • Im enjoying my gimbal now. And at last im happy to go work with it.

But now i have another problem that i dont realy know how to asses.
I did a day long tune earlyer and was happy with the ressults. Everything was working fine.
The gimbal has now been sitting for well over two weeks and today i went to fire it upp.
Nothing working, twitching arround and screeching from the motors.
Went into the gui, and found that booth acc and gyro where not calibrated?
Can you loose the calibration data withouth doing anything to it?
Had to redo pids aswell after that. Nothing was working as it should.
And i now have to do another day with tinkering, wich altough not realy a pain, would be if i have to redo it every 14 days...

    Anyone experienced this?

  • Hello,
What versions of the GUI and firmware are you using?
  • 2.50b3 and 2.50b2-encoder
  • Is it a chance that you press button 10x times? This is special command that clears all data from EEPROM. Also, the same command may be sent from the GUI. I dont know other ways how to loose all settings from EEPROM.

In any case, to make things safer, do a backup of EEPROM after tuning. In case of any fault you can restore it and get gimbal working again.
