Battery reverse polarity damage?
Thank you for the link and for your help. My problem is solved, I bought a voltmetre to control the battery polarity (it was wrong). After reversing, everything works ! Good to know: My CAME steadycam is protected from reversed polarities.

// EDIT: Not totally sure if I inversed the polarity.. The cables from the batteries were taken unsoldered and I had put them back without knowing what were their polarities (2 black wires). I think I made the mistake of reversing. //
