    I know that I can erase the EEPROM and it will wipe out the profiles and the calibrations for gyro, acc, and voltage indicator. I know that I can flash the board and get rid of the firmware by using the upgrade -> manual tab and then load new firmware, but what EXACTLY does the menu button reset do when you press it 10 times? "Full reset of all settings" is what the manual says, but what does that mean?

    It returns everything to board factory defaults. everything needs to be tuned again after it.

    Does that affect calibrations or does it simply input some basic profiles and leave the calibrations intact?

    It resets everything, but IMU calibration is not difficult, I usually do it IMU on peace. just put motors of and rotate camera to needed positions. Angle is not that accurate, but it must be steady when calibrating. Follow the right indicator for steadiness.
