Well, there is the filters also and you must tune also I and D.

Maybe something mechanically not good, maybe yaw not balanced, maybe basic setup not performed, motors inverted wrong etc. and you need to tune also other parameters than P for good result. ofthen auto tuning provides good results, dry autotuning ya…

"diagnostic: Magnetic field is too low!" - what it means?
The users manuals are a good start. here is no more information available for the magnetic field is too low. it just means that. To fix it magnet needs to be installed according the users manual. But if it works ok, not to worry.

This means excatly that. Magnet is too far a vay or too weak. ofthen this is with magnets with hole. Not ideal, but it can still work ok and if it does not to worry.

Second IMU sensor
You get me confused about what you are confused about. Main IMU needs to be connected to camera, second imu on frame, above or below yaw. It is as simple as that. The I2C IMUs need to have different address, after that you just tell on GUI whear ea…

My pilotfly C45 is out of control.
Yes, it has some problem, but pretty inbossible to say what. Did you do some tuning etc before this started, if not probaly a HW problem. You need to find someone who knows about gimbals, or dig into it your self. Or contact the company that makes …

Roll gets unstable when pitch is 90 degree up or down
See the euler angles and there is couple of options for 2 axis setups under stabilisation (att the bottom of the page) test them.

YAW shaking when tilting down
Is th egimbal working ok on normal position? all axis activated? That looks like basic setup problem, maybe wrong order of euler angles, maybe something else. save your current setings and redo the hole setup. this might help on that http://www.lev…

YAW encoder is crazy ...
If the magnet is rotating related to motor, it is not at center of the encoder, or it is too far from the encoder.

Got a new motor today, question
Normal servo wire is enough. If you have normal board and if that motor is above 10 ohms, it is less than 1.5 A current.

Did it ever work? likely basic setup problem, or encoder calibration problem. If it is connected with i2c or SPI reguest state in debug. Could be also magnet plasement problem.

Gimbal rolls only on one Side
Yeah, well, you need to do the basic setup and setup all axis. See users manual http://www.basecamelectronics.com/files/v3/SimpleBGC_32bit_manual_2_6x_eng.pdf and this might help http://levitezer.com/styled-2/blog-2/files/72d28d8da53e386944cd0f0b4…

Total Beginner here. Is the SIMPLEBCG software compatible with any board?
That is very strange and on 2K display it should not be any problem anyway. Check if you can dind the scaling on windows. Do not remember now, writing on Mac, but know it is there.

You probaly have a 4K display. Use scaling or lower resolution on the display

Roll loses horizontal angle randomly
Ok, I misunderstood as your video. There is still the FC connection via PWM, tested it long time ago, and yes it provided some improvement, It gets the horizon from FC (DJI NAZA servo gimbal control outputs were used), but too complicated, small ho…

There is no magic number of gyro trust that will make it good. You need to test and experiment, also you can make it adjustable via RC and use different gyrotrust in different flight situations. When high gyro trust is used, it is important that gyr…

On the above video you posted, yaw is not performing well, maybe you have too tight follow yaw setings. I have tested the FC connection, but not Via Mavlink, I guess that should work too. I would suggest using the latest Beta FW or at least never …

Is that a two axis gimbal? If not there is some serious probelmes with yaw. Pitch seems to have some problems too.

Good imu calibration helps, well performed temperature calibrated provides pretty good results. However even very good IMU calibration does not remove the problems caused by accelerations. Connecting to flight controller can provide better results.…

How can I fix I2C error problem?
Difficult to understand what is going on, move the gimbal like you would be using it for filming. I2C errors are problem on the gimbal wiring most likely, maybe slip rings

There is only one correct number of poles, that is the actual number of poles on the motor. It sounds you have some hardvare probem on your gimbal and hense the i2c errors. It sounds also that you settings my be wrong. you should never have any ne…

Well that depends of your gimbal, for any normal gimbal with normal around 10 to 16 ohm motors that will be ok.

No problem with the current. With encoders the gimbal really does not use much current normally and the max current the board can handle is about 4.5 A (all axis forced), a 6300 mAh batery can take that at least for some time.

It looks then you have something more seriously wrong then. If flashing failed, see the emergency recovery on the users manual.
