Pitch points down at 90 degrees, how to correct?

Hello, I'm trying to setup a dslr sized gimbal, I have the 3.0 32bit 3 axis version, the pitch motor points the camera down at 90 degrees (lens to the ground), the GUI also has the pitch arrow pointing straight down, and it wants to stay in this position. What is the issue here and how do I correct it?

Ok, I found out that by default pitch and yaw were configured to receive the analog control input, so I disabled it and now it stays level.
