Alexmos is not connecting with USB

    Hi!

    I am very frustrated since I can't even get started with connecting my Alexmos. Many people seem to have the same issue as I - which is after the Silicon labs driver has been installed, the board does not connect, and the USB is still labelled "unknown device" in the device manager. I tried different computers, and many different USB cables, shielded and non-shielded.

    Also, the Silicon labs chip get extremely hot when the USB is connected, smells kind of funky and burns my finger when I touch it. Is this normal?

    I should also mention that I purchased the board through a legitimate Alexmos dealer, so the board should be legit.

    Which OS are you using? Did you install the drivers for the correct device? The links are in the manual.

    Did you try with another USB cable?

    Have you already contacted the vendor to seek help?
