Can't select frame IMU
  • Using 32 bit 2 IMU, I've enabled the second IMU and bridged the ADDR leads on the back of one IMU. When I click on Frame IMU in the GUI, it kicks me back to Camera IMU. Both sensors are lit up and are clearly making the GUI respond to movement. It seems like it's not addressing them separately, did I miss something?
  • Hello.
Firstly please update your GUI and firmware.
Check the ADDR bridge has been cutted on the second IMU.
  • I had problems like that described in here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2178272

Some IMU/Board/cable length etc combinations are difficult to get working.
  • I already updated firmware and GUI, using 2.42b7. Here are the ADDR leads on my two IMUs http://imgur.com/X0XhmgA I'm hoping I was just wrong about how to handle the ADDR leads.

I'm not getting any I2C errors with this setup either.

  • I think on that IMU the address is connected, you need to cut it with a sharp knife, but I might be wrong. examine is there a thin folio between the 2 tabs or measure if they are connected.
  • Ah good, I was dumb. That's easy to fix. I saw to leads on the back and figured it had to be bridged rather than cut. Just did a continuity reading on the open leads and they are bridged, I'll cut them up now. Thanks!
