BaseCam IMU and Compass as secondary sensors in Ardupilot

Hi, I have a BaseCam Electronics IMU (with compass) not in use that comes with Alexmos Gimbal controller. is it possible to use it as secondary compass and IMU (EK3_IMU_MASK = 3)?
I connected over i2c and the compass was not detected. I did not play with the imu.
