Yaw axis problem on DYS BLG3SN
  • I have a little Problem with a DYS BLG3SN

Roll and nick is working fine, but the yaw axis is driving crazy.
SimpleBGC shows a strange behaviour at ERR_YAW (video).

In the other video you can see the gimbals reaction.

    Any ideas?
  • You have plenty of wires hanging, that is not good, the loose mad will confuse the gimbal and refuse the performance, but this is probably not the problem.

On some pictures you have I2C error. That is not good, you should get rid of all of them, but probably that is not the reason for the problems.

Have you performed motor configuration auto? That is mandatory and causing problems if you have not. After performing it correct the pole numbers, but leave the inverted status as the Auto has set them.

Have you performed gyro calibration? As it is now set on your GUI it is performded at startup, just make sure that nothing moves during it.

Disconnect joystick to get it working first and then reconnect and remember to calibrate.
  • Thanks for your fast response!

The cables will be installed properly when everything works fine.
Meanwhile I was informed that my motors are 22 pole motors, not 14! I will correct that and will test it.
I already disconnected the joystick, that had no effect.

Maybe I will try an older firmware...
  • For the setup you have FW 2.3 could be easier to set up that the newer, but generally the newest FW is best, if the gimbal can take it.
  • Thanks. Auto Motor Setup solved the Problem. Pitch and yaw had to be inverted and the Motor has 22 poles.
    Thanks für the help
