hello, 8017 motor compatible motor cages also work for GB85 and 8028 BGC motor No modification ! the hole spacing on 6208 are different 45, 25, 30 closes cage is 8017 will need to mod the cage hole spacing for 8017 motor is top/bottom 52, 33, for GBM5208 Motor hole spacing back 25, 32 front 12, 17 all measurement in mm . GBM5208 motor cage will work for BGC6208 but the front fitting will be a problem, Hope this answer your question
Yes, thank you for this answer, the real problem to adapt the 6208 on a 5208 cage is not space of holes, it's space between 4 aluminum spacers to build the cage. A 5208 motor has a 63mm exterior diameter and a 6208 motor has a 67mm exterior diameter. I don't know if it can enter between theses 4 aluminum spacers without touch them. I don't have this cage to measure
No! space between the cage is 30mm most motors of this size are 25mm thick! the diameter is an issue remover the aluminum standoffs that's 8017 motor cages is better choce! 70mm from sand off to stand off on 5208 cage!
Yes, thank you very much, i will build somes cages. I really think that in the future we will see this motor in many gimbals, Torque 2300 gr. is perfect for our DSLR 5D. Thanks
