How to adjust 'Home' position?
Try turning off the motors, then moving it to the correct position, then doing a controller reset.

Sensor IMU issue
P.S. Once in a while, a sensor not connected error can be fixed by simply re-seating the plastic connectors that carry the signal.

Sensor IMU issue
Yes, I've seen some failures like this lately. Using the same IMUs on a different board got good IMU data. Same board with different IMUs got no IMU data. Had to replace the board. Maybe a failure of the I2C bus or port on the board?

I have the beholder ec1...
If you want the GUI that corresponds to the firmware you have, you can find it at http://www.basecamelectronics.com/files/SimpleBGC_GUI_2_61b0.zip By the way, BaseCam is very consistent on their naming conventions, so if you are looking for a diffe…

Yaw won't turn past certain point, twiching and shaking.
You mentioned that you didn't SEE any wires getting caught up when it turns, but have you tried turning off the motors and physically moving it past these points that it bounces off of? It doesn't take a ton of extra physical resistance t…

Help... My pitch and yaw axis always goes back to level
If you go to the RC settings, are you set to angle on those axes with this behavior? Try changing them to speed.

How to override camera position by holding it?
Does that model have encoders in it? If not, you'll need a model with encoders.

Pitch jumps / twitches away from level, then slowly goes back to level - endlessly
Could be a lot of things. Can you put some weight on it? You've got a lot of power for nothing on it at all, and because there is no weight on it, it isn't balanced. Once you do that, try turning the power to zero on two axes and play w…

GUI won't run
This is a Mac, and we can't even start the software, so nothing we do to the controller board will make any difference. We tried disabling his antivirus software and we went through all of his Java settings, but no luck. :-(

GUI won't run
Do you mean that you upgraded the firmware version with Windows? The problem is not just connecting for me. I can't even get the software to run, whether or not the controller board is connected.

Pitch Shakes
Pointing upwards is likely depend on your firmware version (if available in your firmware), your Euler angle setting. Shaking can be anything from poor balancing to a D value that is too low to being underpowered. Usually, the first step is to rai…

Roll Drift from zero to fully canted over time 32bit 3 axis
Regarding calibration, I find that WHEN THE MOTORS ARE OFF, all gyro values should stay within the range of -3 to 3 when nothing is moving. If they don't stay in that range, calibrate them again. You don't have to be off very much on gyr…

Pitch causing erratic yaw and shaking behavior.
I can't tell you for sure what the problem is, but the first two things I would try would be to make sure your balance is correct and to try checking/unchecking the pitch invert checkbox on the Basic tab.

How to connect your SimpleBGC to your Mac OSX computer
In my experience, the Silicon Labs driver is pretty reliable. I have seen problems when the USB cable doesn't get pushed into the card far enough, or maybe when the driver didn't get installed properly, but it sounds like yours was instal…

Getting a solid setup with the Helix Jr. and the A7s
Hi Michael, The behavior you describe is probably an issue of optimizing the PID settings for your setup. You can contact Letus technical support at letus.cs on Skype or letus.cs (@gmail.com) via e-mail for help in fine-tuning your settings.

The problem with the language program.
I could offer some suggestions, but I'm really just guessing. I don't think it's another language at all. I would try updating java first. It might be a font you don't have on your computer or something like that, too.

CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP Driver installation problem

You should also make sure that your Bluetooth module is set to even parity, as the board will not upgrade firmware using no parity per the manual.
