Curiosity, why does horizon drift appear?
ATTI will remain level, but float with the wind. Manual I only try on simulators for now. :) If just the roll could be assisted a bit by NAZA output to remain horizontal all the time, that would be great. (I normally work with tilt shift lense…

Ok, the naza has F1 and F2 outputs for controlling a gimbal. Research needs to be done :) Anyone tried this maybe?

Well, the gps or compass have little to do with staying level, and the pilot, that's me, even less. So, how to connect the naza to the SimpleBGC, to tell it what's level? That would be kinda nice.

Move the IMU?
My problems is best illustrated with this, I guess: http://youtu.be/Ee2xXYxFsQs?t=3m1s I descend a bit to get s shot of the guy, and then press the stick forward, but decide not to come closer after all, and release the stick again. The camera &qu…

Move the IMU?
No. Isn't this for connecting an "external" flight controller? What can I do with this having a simple Phantom NAZA?

Move the IMU?
Why I asked this? Because I think I *may* have isolated some of the jerks I have to, not so much the settings, but the location of the IMU being on the gimbal itself. When I start or stop a motion rather sudden, the gimbal itself is moving becaus…

Firmware 2.4 woes
Thanks for the advice kikojiu. But I am kinda tired of trying. Had enough of testing. Old firmware seems to work fine with the parameter supplied with the gimbal. Maybe the manufacturer comes up with settings for 2.4. or maybe someone invents a t…

Firmware 2.4 woes
I give up with 2.4 on my Arris CM3000. All kind of strange things happen, tried a lot today. Loaded up 2.35b , default CM3000 config, and everything is back to normal. (Oh, yeah drifting horizons, but that is kinda normal too) I hope people smart…

At the "follow mode tab" , below the expo curve graph, there is for all tree axis OFFSET and SPEED. Set the speed for yaw above zero :)

Firmware 2.4 woes
I have a Arris CM3000 and updated to 2.4. My gimbal also starts shaking and even a pretty large roll drift at times. Others have not (yet) reported this with the same gimbal, at least one user said that things work much better now. Somehow I th…

Arris CM3000 Horizon and Wobble woes
I am sorry to have bothered you with my wobble problem. It was never in the PIDS or the Gimbal itself. I used 3rd party Carbon CF props. I balanced them. So I never thought it could be the props. After I crashed due to the quad drowning in its own…

Move the IMU?
The SW does not need to know the position of the camera. It just tells the camera where to point. But I guess feedback is needed somehow? I saw the second IMU input. Is there a way to connect a DJI naza?

What I do to get maximum (P)ower to the roll, is: put my finger on the gimbal and feel for micro vibes. At a certain setting, microvibes could be felt even without applying any pressure. I then reduced power to the roll, until microvibes ceased. I t…

Ok, RTFM Did the advanced calibration, and lowered gyro thrust to 84 (from 100). This solves most horizon problems. Its not perfect, but not as annoying as before. Then, to the wobble, aka low frequency (pitch) oscillations. Need to lower P and i…
