Follow Mode question on Hand-held Gimbal
  • I have a Hand-held Gimbal that works well except for follow mode. I would be happy with Yaw only but have had "zero" luck in activating any type of follow mode... It stays locked to a single heading.. On a side note, if i put it in follow Pitch-Roll-Yaw, it goes a bit crazy and I have to shut it down or damage would result. The board is an AlexMos on firmware version 2.30 b5... Any thought or help would be appreciated..
  • There is a problem with follow mode in 2.3 version. Either you go back to 2.2 or wait for a new version...
  • Interesting. I have been having similar problems. Is this fixed with 2.40b6 ?
  • For me the follow mode, also yaw, works both on 2.3 and 2.4. Maybe stupid question, but just to make sure, is your Yaw axel well balanced, i.e. if you roll the outer gimbal 90 degrees (power off), does the inner gimbal stay in level?
