Hello, I built a stabilizer similar to Arri Trinity. It has 2 motors for pitch, one motor for roll axis via reduction belt. I made it work ok but I was wondering if one of you guys can point me to a solution for transmitting the SDI video signal from camera to the stabilizer base so it can be viewed on the external monitor that sits on the steadicam post. The idea is that the camera is moving in all directions, roll and pitch, the stabilizer has hard stops for roll axis 270 degrees in each direction but no hard stops for pitch axis. So, what do you think actually the solution might be? I solved this in the past in the first version by using an SDI capable slip ring in the back but it limits the length of the camera that can be mounted on stabilizer so now I opted for a solution identical to Arri Trinity in design.
