IMU Gyroscope stability meter
  • On one of our controllers, the "stability" meter is erratic and gets maxed out into red a lot of the time.

    What does this mean in technical terms? Are both of the IMU's bad? I2C errors don't seem to correlate - right now it shows 0 I2C errors and the Gyroscope stability is routinely in the red.

    Has anyone else seen this?
  • to follow up: it turns out the camera IMU was bad, and it affected stability regardless of whether camera or frame IMU was selected in the calibration window. Switching out the IMU resolved the problem.
