I recently purchase a 2 axis gimbal that has a Basecam board on it. The gimbal works very well at keeping level except when the gimbal is turned left or right; level gets lost at this time but it does come back very slowly.
I've installed the Simple BGC GUI (thinking I could correct this level issue) but the software returns an error saying "GUI vs Board version mismatch". The error reports Basecam firmware as 0.53 b4 and the GUI version as 2.40 b7.

Should I "flash" the Basecam board to bring it up to date? And if so, how? And how do I save the current settings (if necessary), as it does keep level very well other than left / right turns.

My computer is Win XP 32 bit.
