YAW Drift
  • I have a problem on a gimbal with Alexmos 3.0 board. I configured a gimbal and everything is working perfectly, the only problem is that the motor axis yaw turns alone to the right slow, i can't delete this micro movement, even redoing several times the full calibration, what can be? The same movement makes him even if I disconnect the engine from the receiver. I think it's a little drift that still is annoying because I have to correct the position every 40 seconds, is fixable?

  • you need to do gyro calibration and the gimbal needs to be absolutely still during it.

    if this does not help make sure it is not the joystick causing this. Do rc calibration raise RC deadband to 50.

    there will always be some drifting when relying to IMUs only, but it should be possible to get it at least less than a degree per minute.
