Error: Corrumped serial data
This message seems to come from sending and receiving commands via the serial interface (and having corruption in the command). This can be the writing/reading of profiles or realtime data with the GUI, or through some app or other interface in whi…

motors is missing steps
Honestly, I pretty much ignore that error. I believe it refers to the fact that your motor is moving from one magnet (rotating slightly) without it commanding the motor to do so (i.e. the motor is slipping). This can happen for any number of reaso…

No receiver after upgrade to 2_63
Spektrum satellite receivers work fine with 2.63. I would recommend doing a firmware bind command by assigning it to the menu button than doing some kind of software bind command through the API or program. It's just more reliable due to volt…

Firmware: 2.63 bricked my 3.0 board upon manual update into 0.00 b0! (basecam4.5) HELP
That doesn't sound like a board issue at all. It sounds like something to do with the server or your computer. I did look up the "Wide character" thing and I have a crazy question for you. Do you use any unusual characters (non-Eng…

Firmware: 2.63 bricked my 3.0 board upon manual update into 0.00 b0! (basecam4.5) HELP
You don't have real firmware on there. You've wiped it clean and now all you have is a type of "placeholder firmware" whose only real purpose is to enable you to do automatic firmware updates. This is totally normal. You just n…

Message "motor is missing steps" what does it mean?
I don't think the two are related. I always understood missing steps to be the motor slipping from one magnet to the next without the controller board directing it to do so.

SimpleBGC not connecting to board
Firmware obviously isn't the problem here. The first command sent by the board after connection is to find out the firmware version. It can send that command with the wrong firmware. The board could be bricked, in which case you could try …

How can I fix I2C error problem?
I disagree that the I2C errors are the main cause of your problem, although they probably cause some problem. The reason I say this is that the I2C errors aren't rising fast enough to cause any real problems during much of the time that you ha…

How can I fix I2C error problem?
It's not 23 poles. What firmware version do you have? Maybe there's a video on calibrating the gyros for that version. Make sure that your motors are off when you calibrate the gyros. It really depends on how fast it's moving. S…

How can I fix I2C error problem?
If you go to the monitoring tab, what are your gyro readings? if they aren't between -3 and 3, then you should probably calibrate the gyros. This is one possible cause of the drifting. Based on http://www.cnchelicopter.com/blog/beholder-ikan…

No RC_PITCH after upgrading to 2.63 b0
Manual = flashing It does not load new firmware onto your controller board. Think of it as resetting your controller with a clean slate. If your board is bricked, use that. Automatic loads working copies of firmware onto the board. If your boar…

No RC_PITCH after upgrading to 2.63 b0
When you "flash" the controller board, you are basically wiping off the firmware from the controller and (not sure exactly how this works behind the scenes) all that is left is a "firmware version 0.00" program, which will only a…

No RC_PITCH after upgrading to 2.63 b0
The version 0.00 b0 happens any time you flash the system. It will beep until you put firmware on it (after connecting). The 0.00 b0 just means that you have not loaded firmware onto the board yet.

25V into the 3.3V pin on tiny pro, Cooked?
On a scale of chihuahua to St. Bernard, you're the St. Bernard... at least in my experience. Sorry. While I've never done that exact thing, I've seen 4S applied to other parts of the 3.3V system and it was dead.

DYS-FUNN with over 3kg camera problem
Number of poles does not double if you have two motors. The number of poles is per motor. BTW, your offset values look awfully high. Are those correct? Also, you have power at 200 and + at 150. The highest total the board will take is 255, so e…

missing steps
I'd focus on solving the I2C error problem first. I suspect that the rest of the problems will go away when that is fixed. Maybe ferrite rings? Work on the wiring. Others probably have better suggestions for that than I do.

Gimball problem ?
I think you need to calibrate the accelerometers, which is why you get two axes moving at once. There is probably more wrong with it, too. Invert and wrong number of poles (as Garug mentioned) are good guesses. I looked on the CAME-TV site, and b…

I have seen the board only function when the USB cable was attached (and not with the battery only). Replacing the 5V regulator on the board fixed it.
