not the ordinary battery question

    Hi. when using lipo's for my dronebuilds i really didnt like em. i guess it is because i cant handle them well(most of em puffed up etc)

    is it possible to use a battery from a cordless tool? for eg a makita 18v 5.0ah and use a stepdown board to lower the voltage etc?

    you can use any dc power supply that can provide the necessary current.

    Which board do you use?
    The new PCBs support a wider voltage range of 3-6s /11,1-22,0v.
