Firmware upgrade failed on 8bit simple BGC

    Hi there,

    I am a newbee, and just bought wat seems to be an old model of 3 axes DYS brushles gimbal.
    I tried to set it up with simpleBGC32 Gui but got an error saying the firmaware was not matching the Gui Version.
    It seems the Gimbal is using 2.30.5 version, when trying to do an firmware update it went wrong during the process and now I have only a red led on and no communication anymore via the GUI ?

    Is there a way to recover the factory settings ?
    The manual I have is quite empty and I couldn t found on the forum a similar case.

    Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Hello,
    You can update board to latest firmware without connection.
    Download GUI and firmware for 8bit board: http://www.basecamelectronics.com/files/SimpleBGC_GUI_2_40b8.zip
    http://www.basecamelectronics.com/files/v10/SimpleBGC_2_40b8.enc.hex
    You need select COM port (don't push connect button), go to Firmware upgrade tab, select firmware and update board.
    If your board has YAW ext. board connected or any external modules, you need to unplug it from main board. Or just connect battery before USB connection.
