One idea would be to allow the recording of positional data into an on board memory cache in real time. This would allow recording of a gimbal movement on set location, saving the data, then playing it back with the press of the button. Useful for repeating complex moves precisely, once the recording is deemed a good take. Then the operator only need to concentrate on his position, and the gimbal pans, tilts and rolls on it's own, based on the playback. Perhaps allow speed multiplier, so complex moves could be recorded in slow motion, then play back at 2X. I do not know if the board has this memory capability, but it's an interesting concept and is found on high end motion control rigs used in feature films or devices such as eMotimo.
