SPI Interface on board

Hi,
I understand the UART serial interface and it's well documented but what is the other SPI interface on the board for ? I'm hoping it's a live update from the 6050 but from my limited experience of writing drivers I'd need some datasheet to use the SPI interface defining speed and registers etc.
