Inconsistency with motor poles number between the same gimbal setups
  • I have 5 gimbals that are all exactly the same. Same motors, same frame, same controller, same payload. There is absolutely no difference at all between them. The thing is, when I use the simpleBGC gui to set up the gimbals, they all require different number of poles for motor configuration, no two are the same. I cannot copy a well working profile from one gimbal to another and have to change the motor poles one by one until I find the gimbal stops freaking out. I am not sure what is going on here. I would expect that a single profile would be able to be used across all of the gimbals as they are exactly the same. I am also finding that the strength with which the gimbal is able to resist external forces is very dependent on the number of poles selected. Does anyone have any advice? Surely there should be consistency between the gimbals?
