As others have noted in these threads below, the iFlight motors fitted with the AS5048A have asymmetrical wiring and no documentation.

Since the links to the images in the old threads were broken, I had to trace the connections from the encoder chip to find the pinout.
Hopefully this helps anyone who finds this thread.
