Hi there, I'm developing a device behaving somewhat like a camera gimbal. I've developed a first prototype, using mainly ST solutions. I'm considering switching to SimpleBGC for my second prototype, so I'm having a look at your documentation. I was surprised by this sentence on page 5 of file SimpleBGC_32bit_Encoders.pdf: "High resolution is not strictly required, because encoders are not used in a closed loop control". Is this a documentation bug? I was under the impression that the goal of an encoder was precisely to implement closed-loop control. Or am I missing something? Thanks. Jeff
