I built 3 or 4 gimbals based on iflight motors. Last versions are based on encoders. All this gimbals are quite heavy because of motors. From my experience 5208 or 6208 or even 6212 iflight motors are ok for tilt and roll but not enough strength for yaw. For yaw I need to use very heavy 8108 motor which moves are not so smooth like this lighter motors. What is your experience with motors for 1,5 kg cameras ? Maybe I have to change something in basecam software ? I tried different options but yaw with 5208 motors from time to time is loosing synchronization.
