I am trying to figure out how to set change stator-rotor angles. Chsnging imu angles is not really practical because IMU sensor is not reliable because it is constantly drifting and its value depends ont selected angle sequence. Stator-rotor angles however always send an independent information which is exactly what I need. Only problem is that I can only read them. Is there a way to directly setting a stator-rotor angle? Or I have to translate those angles to IMU angle system and then apply new angle to IMU?
As far as I know, the BGC is not programmed to control the motors in close loop with the encoders (Servo mode). I agree it would be nice though as an alternative mode. But it would completely kill its functionality as a gimbal
