22awg (wire gauge basics)
  • I noticed that the power cable on the controller is 22awg

From looking at https://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm there are two fields for max amps: "chassis wiring" and "power transmission"

What do those mean? Should I be concerned that the power draw listed on the site at https://www.basecamelectronics.com/simplebgc32bit/ is at least 1.5 amp (aside- does 1,5 mean 1.5 or 1-5?) and the "power transmission" rating is only .9 amps... or should I not be concerned because the "chassis wiring" limit is 7 amps?

It would seem strange that a small connector like that would some how need re-wiring for like a 10awg connector somehow... but just wanted to be sure that I'm not missing something and wiring up a 22awg wire to a larger batter (say 11.1v w/ 5200 amp capacity) is okay.
