I have 32bit controller on my gimbal. Everything works fine. I would like to have an extra back up controller board, in case the current fails on a job. My question: Is it important to buy a "genuine" "authorized or approved" board or I can pick any of the available on ebay? Are these coming from the same factory in China or there are real quality differences between them? There is a price difference (twice as much) between the "simple" and "genuine" 32bit AlexMos Brushless Gimbal Controllers.... Thanks so much!
If you want to be sure, better buy from companies listed at wherebuy.
The links you provide say "Official genuine Alexmos BaseCam BGC3.0 32bit 3 axis Brushless Gimbal Controller" So if it is not you should be protected if you pay with Paypall etc. in case they are not what they state to be, but would be inconvenient to go trough all that. I have no information if they are or not genuine.
Note also, not all the genuine controllers are the same. They run the same FW, but the HW can be different, different motor drivers, different IMUs etc. I have been using http://www.basecamelectronics.com/simplebgc32bit/ and had no problems with it.
Hi, I have one genuine and one E-bay (3-Axis 32Bit AlexMos Simple BGC V3.0 Brushless Gimbal Controller & IMU Sensor-from "hobbyzoom369" (currently not in listing, I bought a year ago)), and both work same.
