The problem with the language program.
  • I was looking on this forum, but I could not find anything like it. When I run the program SimpleBGC GUI (in any version), which I downloaded here:

    http://www.basecamelectronics.com/downloads/32bit/#latest

the program offers me only for me unintelligible Chinese (or whatever it is for language) .

I set the bar at the top of anything and when asked whether to approve - a new start again only in Chinese!

I tried it many times and different language to me there simply can not be set. I am at a loss - help someone?

    Thank you very much.
    Petr
  • There are 3 pictures, how my program looks and you can not set a different language. When trying this, it always after the program starts up again only chinese .... It made me unhappy.

  • No one can advise ??? No one has any idea?
  • I could offer some suggestions, but I'm really just guessing.

I don't think it's another language at all. I would try updating java first. It might be a font you don't have on your computer or something like that, too.
  • Yes, the problem is in the character set. JAVA I updated and the problem is still the same. I know it's going to have to solve alone with my PC. If I knew the character set I'm missing ... What the program needs to start correctly. Error but of course may be elsewhere. Thank you for answer.
  • I solved it. The program may need to install the Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.7. With the latest version of JAVA me all sorts of characters appear only in an environment SimpleBGC. The program must execute the command SimpleBGC_GUI.jar. If you use the command SimpleBGC_GUI.exe is wrong and the characters are all kinds. So, yes - after installing old versions of Java and run the command SimpleBGC_GUI.jar program is in the correct character set. The problem (as if there were not enough ...) is that it does not find me COM5 communication port (driver is installed and the system can see it!). So I have to do research on ...

  • Unfortunately, I'm here again. Simple BGC not find my virtual port that but I got through the driver installed. In the system, the port will soon join the 2D gimbal. Gimbal on the processor CP2102 and that's why I installed the driver from the link: http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/pages/usbtouartbridgevcpdrivers.aspx. Before that I tried and driver from this link: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm: Before installing the drivers, I always original uninstalled, so I avoid any collision versions. After installing the driver, restart the PC always ...

I use Windows7 64Bit, SimpleBGC 2.2.b2, Driver (installed) CP210x Silicon Labs USB to UART Bridge (COM5).

Summary - Configuration program run is legible only starting SimpleBGC_GUI.jar. Launching SimpleBGC_GUI.exe - Environment program is illegible. In neither case, however, launched the program does not load the virtual port created by the driver. System PC always. I gimbal 2D from Banggood.com - exactly this: http://eu.banggood.com/Wholesale-Warehouse-FPV-2-Axis-Brushless-Gimbal-With-Controller-For-DJI-Phantom-GoPro-3-wp-Uk-908068.html# . On the product and installation software to download, but I have the same issues about which I am writing here. JAVA as I wrote in the last post Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.7. . When you install the latest version of JAVA me is not displayed correctly even SimpleBGC_GUI.jar.

I do not know how to do it. I have huge problems with it. Please advise me somebody something.

In reference to a photo that shows that the driver is installed, but the program does not find a port:

  • Pardon. Last picture is a newer version SimpleBGC. Image with 2.2.b2 version is here:

The result is always the same ... Wrong!
