Resolution used for the IMU (deg/Rad)

    Hi,

    Is someone can tell me what is the resolution (in bit) used in the software for the IMU. (for the simpleBGC 32bit)

    I'd like to calculate the smaller angle (deg or Rad) that the basecam is able to manage.

    The IMU does not manage angle, but angular speed.

    On my best gimbals the indicator show much less than 0.1 degree deviation during normal operation.

    On static condition testing with Laser, Laser pointing to wall in 7 meters distance, the laser dod moves maybe +-3 mm.

    This all depends of gimbal and tuning, even better results could be archivable.

    for more information you could look into the sensor specifications. if I remember correctly it is MPU-6050.
