Hi all! I'm trying to build an OpenSam (http://opensam.net/) for a Canon 550D. Previously I built a gimbal for a small camera on my quadcopter. I bought this version of the Basecam: http://rc-innovations.es/Alexmos-gimbal-3-ejes-40a But what I got is not the same as the picture in the store (is 2-axis). I thought it was a 32-bits but is 8-bits, so the latest firmware I could install is 2.40b7. And I have no AUTO for PID setting.
What I'm not sure is where to put the yaw extension because I put it on the controller (there is a place for it) but I don't get the stabilization, I cannot find manually the right PID to work properly. Is necessary to put the yaw extension (40A max) on the frame or on the board? And I didn't find any information about this model, no layout, no manual. Do you know where I can find any information?
Thanks in advance and good luck with your gimbals.
