Hello everybody ! Pardon my poor english, i'm french, but i'll try to do my best ! I launched a project : make my own gopro gimbal. With the aim of decreasing actuals prices.
I would like to buy an adequate brushless motor, but there are so many models, i lose myself. I know only recently (2 days) the differences between technologies, but i understood that for my use, i would need a little kv, and a big number of pole pairs. For the KV, i don't know how to choose... Between 210 and 70 ? Should the engine to make at least 1/4 turn in 0.5 seconds. Thereafter, the objective is to control these moteurs with a dspic from microchip. I saw that there are sensorless and sensored motors. I think i need a sensored.
Hello, You need sensorless motor, because the feedback works through the IMU and microprocessor, which processes the data from the IMU. But if you need better quality, you can use encoders for each motors and a special firmware. For small camera, like GoPro is enough 70 turns.
