SUM PPM input - maximum number of channels

    Dear community,

    I have experienced that my Flyduino 32bit BGC with the latest Firmware do not recognize more than 8 Channels from a 12 channel SUM PPM signal. I use Weatronic receivers and the signal width is 1.5ms. The receivers are correctly configured and the output signal is confirmed for all the available 12 channels with an oscilloscope.

    Is there any limitation or it is a compatibility issue? In the GUI are already 32 virtual channels available to select. I would like to use the channels 10-12 for profile, pitch and yaw control.

    It seems there are more peoples who are interested for this feature. On the documentation for the 8-bit board it is mentioned that only 8 channels are available for the SUM PPM signal but in the documentation for the 32-bit is never mentioned.

    I never heared about possibility to output more than 8 channels in the Sum-PPM format. Please provide the exact receiver model and where you know that it supports more than 8 channels. Other information like scope screenshots will be helpful, too.

    Under the table you find the leaflets for each of them. The Smart8, Clever6 and the Tiny5 series, independently from the number of the physical channels, are able to deliver the SUM PPM signal for all the available 12 channels.

    My friends says that the Graupner HoTT system could deliver up to 16 SUM PPM channels, so my system is not the only who could more than 8.

    As a simplest solution, I just rised the number of Sum PPM channels to 16. But I have no such radio to test. In the next release, you can check will it help, or not.

    wollte mal Anfragen wie der Stand ist für die Erweiterung des Summensignals auf 12 oder 16 Kanäle für Graupner Hott ist . Währe schon wenn Ihr dies realisieren könnt.

    the V2.33b9 is working flawlessly with 12 PPM SUM channels on MC24 / Weatronic gear. The Graupner Hott seems to work also very well on his 16 channels, Schmefan will report this in a separate reply.

    habe aber momentan Problemen mit der Bluetooth Schnittstelle, bekomme keine Kommunikation mehr hin. Ich habe schon 2 Bluetooth Empfänger getestet, immer das gleiche Problem,
    Was kann ich noch machen, oder ist es ein Software Problem ( das ganze habe ich mit dem PC und Android V4.4.2 getestet).
