plug USB power and battery at the same time for 8 bit basecam?

    Hi all,
    Could I plug in the FTDI and 12V battery power for 8 bit basecam control at the same time?
    I see a description about that in 32bit manual, but the 8 bit manual didn't.
    So, can I do that?
