I do believe I've discovered a solution, though it's a bit unconventional. While doing more research into this, I discovered that the latest version of the firmware added a functionality where the gimbal will reset its position, on all t…

Home Position - Is this correct?
So, are you saying that the behavior I am currently seeing is correct? Your potentiometer mod sounds fascinating, but I have no idea how to adapt it into the system so that my Home Position button resets according to craft orientation.

Home Position changing.
I think I may have figured something out, but I'd sure someone's opinion. I realized today that the Home Position switch is resetting the gimbal to the position it was in when it was initialized, not facing forward relative to the copter…

Yaw axis calibration
Andrew - I've done that there are no errors. As soon I yaw my copter around, and then hit the home position switch, the gimbal either goes to a bad position, or starts spinning! I'm beginning to wonder if I have a bad yaw motor? Also, I h…

Yaw axis calibration
Hi Andrew. I'm using V 2.5b2 firmware. I've re calibrated the IMUs multiple times I've tuned and re-tunes all axis. Just flew today and this is still happening. After using the gimbal for a bit, returning to home position, by flippin…

Nightmare with multiple Profiles
I'm having the same issue as DAvid. Would love to be able to switch profile before each flight from my Tx without the gimbal freaking out. Any answers out there yet?

Virtual channels not assigned correctly
I'm using an external RF, the FrSky XJT module, for an additional 16 channels. Sorry that I was unclear about that, I've come to terms with the 16 channel offset in the Basecam GUI software after several have told me that's just the w…

RC_Roll - No Signal
Actually, my vendor later informed me that the signal connection for the RC_roll has been moved to Aux_3. I tried that, and he is correct.

SBGC v3.0 and encoders
If you're sure that it's the jumper, then yes. Bridge the gap with solder and it will power the right side of the board with 5 volts.

Changing profiles mid flight
Does anyone know if more than one 3-way switch can be set up? I'd love to have a way to get the gimbal back to original/home position, in addition to switching profiles.

PWM RC_ROLL & RC_PITCH now working
I'm having the same issue, but with just the RC_Roll signal terminal. I AM getting power from RC_Roll, but no signal. Previously I was not getting power from RC_Yaw, so I checked the board and found a bad solder on the ground terminal. I re-s…

Yaw slipping during roll???
Are you sure you got the pole numbers correct? If they're too small, the motors will heat up and strangeness will occur.

Yaw axis calibration
I am having this issue as well. Whenever I power up the gimbal, the yaw axis aligns about 30 degrees to the right, or sometime to the left. I find that if I turn the motors off in the software, reset the alignment manually, then turn the motors back…
