"lock" mode available on 3 axis board?
Hello Craig, I'm almost sure you will need some 3rd parts to make this work well. The POI is normally controlled with the Yaw axis from the multicopter. I see there is a option to use a open source 3-axis gimbal controller: http://www.olliw.e…

Main motors disturb gimbal
Hello Lemmi, Have you some pictures from your S800 EVO / Gimbal setup ? And have you a link to which Tiny board you are using ? Most DYS sensors and mainboards are open and this can be one of the problems. The magnetic field from the main motors, …

USB and Lipo connected simultaneously, is it OK?
Your board haven't any components to switch between the 5V regulator or the 5V USB power. The USB power is directly connected to the 5V output from the regulator and this gets wrong. Or it's a fake board or they have made a big mistake. I…

Gimbal is stable during tuning but going crazy during flight
If possible, try to see in the Gui (compass sensor monitor) what happens when all MultiCopter motors are running around 70%. off course without Props (-: It's possible that these motors give some noise to your sensor/8-bit board. Otherwise ch…

My 7800 32bit 3 axid gimbal is moving like its possessed! HELP!
The best way after a firmware update, is to erase your EEPROM first. (can be found at the top from the Gui by "Board") - After this load the profile from Came TV (without Follow Mode !) and run a Motor Auto check. - Check the Motor poles, …

Shaking/ weird movements
You need more Power for the motors ! 50 is to low. I think you have to start from 160 or more. And it's better to do a Auto check (see Motor configuration). Keep in mind to check the motor poles, this go's sometimes wrong during a Auto ch…

The easiest way is to use a small potentiometer. Just solder a 3-pin servo wire to the potentiometer and connect it to a analog input. http://www.basecamelectronics.com/files/v10/SimpleBGC_connection_diagram.pdf By RC settings you can select for th…

All complete Gimbals on the net are from sellers and not direct from BaseCam. Basecam makes only a piece of hardware and software to let a Gimbal run. This gives the option for most people, to build there own Gimbal rig for a lower price. So in this…

I'm using the same Gimbal (for a Canon 7D or a BlackMagic Cinema Camera) and I'm only using a 3S 2500mAh LiPo. I have to say that I've upgraded the Yaw axis with a bigger motor (8017 i-Flight) to get some spare power. With this, I don…

You welcome ;-) Yes, all carbon used with this Gimbal is 25mm :-) I hope both boards are fine so you have one board as a back-up. And yes, the Yaw axis is very smooth, even with a heavier BMCC :-)

disable the auto Pan/Rotation gimbal but we want to be able to the rotation by RC
Not sure because I don't have the same setup... You can try to activate the Follow Mode for Yaw and set the Follow Speed for Yaw at 0. This will hopefully lock your auto Pan/Rotation and you can still control it with your radio.

BGC v3 - How to determine which IMU is the camera and which is the frame?
The IMU boards can be used for both, this is why they don't give it a name. If you buy a complete controller including the box/house, you will find (by the most) the names on the boxes.

BGC v3 - How to determine which IMU is the camera and which is the frame?
You will see "ADDR" at the sensor boards. One board is with a small black component soldered (this is for the bridged function) and one without. The one with is the Camera sensor and the board without is the Frame sensor.
