Does anyone know where to get some decent frame kits, without electronics? It seems that most of these brushless motors are the same, and the tricky part is the camera cage and the rest of the structure. I would of course like to build a large gimbal with encoders and sliprings on all axes, but i have not found a frame that i can build it myself with. I think square tubes would be better, since the round tubes things slip on rotational torque. Jason
To the OP, go to http://www.famoushobby.com/Wholesale-Discount-brushless-gimbal_c318.html and contact them directly about your needs. This is all the Oran (AOPEN) does and charges a hefty premium for acting as the middle man between you and Famoushobby. He will tell to you about his "factory," when in fact he lives in Canada and the production of all the parts happens at Famoushobby in China. I work with Famoushobby directly and it is much more cost-effective. You can DM with any questions.
