Motor upside down?

    Hi folks!

    Just got a quick question. Does the orientation in which a motor is installed matter? Let's take the yaw axis for example: I've never seen a yaw motor mounted so that the stator points down and the rotor up. Or in general it seems that the stator is always fixed and and the rotor rotates. But shouldn't it work the other way around too?

    Electrically it makes no difference, other than motor inverted status need to be set correctly during basic setup with the motor auto function. That is with auto, not manually.
