CAME7000 Newbie
  • Hello, I just got a new CAME7000 gimbal. I'm trying to tune it for a Nikon D800 with a 20mm lens and no luck. I start by balancing the camera. I have got very good at this. Done it lots of times thinking this may be part of the problem. After that, I do a six point calibration (all the dials on the GUI are working perfectly. Then I do a gyro calibration. Then I start setting up PID's. I start from zero on every axis. I tune two of the axis (any two) and when I start tuning the third axis, this third axis starts acting up and moving like crazy regardless of the numbers you put in the PID's. Does anybody have a clue about what is happening here? Can anybody give any tips, tricks, walkthroughs on tunning from scratch?
  • have you done your auto motor configuration? Maybe you try to check invert on the YAW.
  • Did all that and looked for the motor specs since it was getting the pole count wrong.
