Firmware upgrade

Whenever I try to flash the firmware (with the hex file included with the download: SimpleBGC_2_2b2.enc.hex) I get an error message: AVRdude error parsing update operation.
What does this tell me? The GUI seems to work fine. Is it that the firmware does not need flashing?

I get exactly the same issue. It was working fine, but once I upgraded, I got this message. Any ideas. anybody??

tells you that you can´t upgrade via the GUI. Will have to do it with avrdude
