Belt driven roll axis not enough speed...
  • Hi, I'm building a stabilizer that has the roll axis driven by a belt with a 10 to 1 ratio. Meaning motor has to do 10 turns for one turn of the roll axis. I did this to gain power, I am using a RCTimer 4114 motor.
When I roll the gimbal left or right very fast, the motor does not turn fast enough to keep the camera horizon, there is a little delay until the camera gets horizontal. Is this strictly related to the voltage? I am using a 16 volts battery. Is there a speed limit? Is there some setting that I can adjust to make the motor turn faster? Thank you!
