360 yaw rotation, AS5048A suitable?

    Hi all!

    Building a gimbal project where we absolutely need 360 yaw rotation. I've searched the manual and site but which encoder can I use to achieve this? The manual states that the AS5600 connected by I2C will allow 360 degree rotation but PWM will not. However, will AS5048A work? Or AS5048A?

    It fullu depends how you implement it. The mechanical limitations are obvious, but there is many ways to over come them. 5048 will work just fine 360 + free rotation, you just need to figure the cables.
