Proper Placement for SimpleBGC 32-bit Tiny Revision B
  • As you know, the Tiny version also acts as the Frame IMU. I am building my own frame and was wondering if where is the optimal placement for the board to go. I would normally place it out of the way on top of the YAW motor but is that a good idea in this case?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
  • It should be parallel to the gimbal axis and well installed on solid place. On small gimbals it is easier to install it above yaw, on bigger gimbals installing it below yaw makes the cabling simpler.

    I have never used IMU above yaw, always below yaw, but that does not mean anything.

  • Yes, then the frame IMU needs to be configured above Yaw.
