Is it possible to disable the built-in IMU on the 32-bit Tiny v3.1?

I have a SimpleBGC v3.1 Tiny. The IMU built into it seems to be bad (Z accel is stuck). I have connected two external IMUs with two different I2C addresses but the software always uses the bad internal IMU. Is there a way to disable it?
