Firmware Problem for Tiny Revision B
  • I have trouble upgrading the firmware. (Using windows 10)

This is the error I received for checking the latest version.

I followed the manual installing zadig+driver.

I then followed the steps for dfu using this tutorial:

CORE DFU was not listed under the "list all devices" tab

Also, where is the flash for Revision B?
  • Can you say what is the text for error message?

Tiny Rev.B does not need USB DFU drivers - it uses CP210x drivers, like regular controller.
  • I have then same problem
    test message is:
Error checking latest version:java.lang.Exception: error sending HTTP request: javax.nex.ssl.SSLExcetion:connection has been shutdown.....
  • @alexmos

This is what the error message states:

"Error checking latest versions: java.lang.Exception: Error sending HTTP request: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.valitdator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target"

It was fine before and running smooth, then one day I get a Serial Data Corrupt error so I tried re-FLASHing it.
