Sorry if this was already discussed elsewhere. I looked and could not find anything,

Trying to use encoders with a motor that has a hollow shaft seems impossible. However, from my reading of the AS5048A/B datasheet it looks technically possible to use a ring magnet. On top of that there are hollow shaft motors that come with encoder "back plates' for sale now. How are they doing it? Has anyone tried this? Does anyone know where to get suitable ring magnets for 5208 size hollow shaft motors?
