Pitch not Working?
  • I have my my gimbal on a quadcopter, and i want to be able to record aerial footage using a gopro on my gimbal (BGC v2.2 B2) . After powering the gimbal and using the supplied servo lead to the signal wire on the correct pin on my gimbal board when i rotate my knob on my Transmitter the gimbals pitch does not move.

I have comfirmed my Transmitter is working by hooking it up to a servo.

I Have tried hooking up the single signal wire, then I tried using a ground wire and a signal wire. None of it has been succcessful.

Here are my Settings for the Gimbal:

Any Help ASAP is appreciated, i've been through many youtube videos looking for a solution but havent found one, Got new motors coming tommorow as one blew right after a rebuild so would be good if i could get it working for my test flight with my new motors!

    Thanks ~Tom
  • Hello,
Please, send schematic diagram with connections. And take a photo where we can see connections RC, servo and control board.
  • Okay il try get them later tonight for you, in pretty sure all the wiring is connect anyway, thanks
  • as my quadcopter is all glued and zip tied together i could not get the receivers setup but i can fully comfirm that that is correct.

Here is a picture of my gimbal hooked up, i bought it "RTF" from Ebay, i could not get the pitch to work on the origanal board then fried that one and im using a replacement one.

Atm in the picture you can see that i have 2 wires hooked up, The white being Signal and i ran out of Ground wires so i had to use Red , but the red wire is a ground wire. I have tried Signal by itself and have had no luck.

Dunnu if this is what a Schetematic diagram with connections is but heres a Paint sketch of how i have the board hooked up

  • Hello,
On your photos well known Chinese imitation of our controller: http://ybex.com/d/1uh3805oxiyifan89ai8zsxqufci5pv9abw22lwq.html
  • oh okay, so there's no way I can get any help here?
  • Hello,
It's possible, faulty controller. Or RC port of controller. Try to change RC port on the control board (connect to RC_Roll and associate as RC_Pitch).
