No Response from Gimbal

So I ordered a gimbal off Amazon.

I got it today and it won't respond to anything. I powered it on and the lights came on, but the motors did nothing. I downloaded the drivers and the GUI, then connected it to my computer. Again the lights came on, but no other response. The GUI only displays COM1 and won't connect at all. Am I doing something wrong, or did a get a defective gimbal? -
For $51? It's unlikely your gimbal works on the genuine controller.
